Role: Lead Designer
In 2019, I designed a new website for Kvinnors Byggforum, a multidisciplinary network for women, trans, and nonbinary professionals in architecture and the built environment. The organization, now known as Alstra Byggforum, has worked norm-creatively and power-critically since 1980 to build a more inclusive industry and society

My task was to translate decades of activism and community-building into a modern, accessible digital presence that would support both outreach and internal communication.
Working closely with board members, I delivered:
A clean, responsive layout with a calm, confident visual identity
Intuitive navigation and information architecture tailored to varied users — members, allies, and newcomers
Modular content blocks that supported updates about events, initiatives, and resources
A design that balanced clarity with warmth — inviting without simplifying their mission
Though the organization has since rebranded and updated their site, this project remains a meaningful example of how design can amplify community-driven work and honor legacy while pointing forward.
